J-Care Enrichment Classes

The JCC offers after-school enrichment classes designed to spark your child’s imagination. All classes run for 6 weeks.

Beginning Piano
Instructor: Music and Dance Academy of Tucson

Learn how to read music, tap out a beat, and even discover how your voice can be a musical instrument. No prior musical knowledge needed.

Z-Sports Clinic

Get active and have fun in this high-energy and enriching sports clinic open to both experienced athletes and those new to sports. Each week will focus on skill development and sportsmanship followed by a fun game. Clinic includes basketball, softball, golf, and more.

The Art of Pottery
Instructor: Artist Gerrie Young, M.A.

Develop technique and learn how to throw a pot on the wheel, hand-build clay creations, and design with glaze. Have fun creating original take-home art and hanging out with friends. Note: Each class is 1 ½ hours.

Hip Hop and International Dance

So you want to learn to dance like a star? Emphasis will be on Hip-Hop and International Dance, including the Cha-cha, the Charleston, the Mashed Potato, and basic ballet moves. Each class will include a warm up, movement discovery, technique practice, and dance terminology. Class ends with a performance.

Learn to create culinary masterpieces while cooking in a safe and exciting environment. Each week you will cook up a delicious treat while learning about a different part of the world. Class culminates with a homemade cookbook of recipes and a take-home dessert to share with your family.
