Massage

Massage at the “J” – so many types of massage to choose from!

Basic Massage - includes light to deep pressure, compression and passive stretches with Swedish style strokes. Focus is relaxing, unwinding, and promotes general well being.

Sports Massage - improves circulation and mobility to injured tissue and enables athletes to recover more quickly from training and injury.

Integrative Massage Therapy – includes some or all of these methods: Shiatsu, acupressure, passive and active stretches, strain/counter strain techniques, deep tissue, trigger point work, myofacial release, sports focused techniques, reflexology, and soft tissue mobilization and connective tissue therapy

Shiatsu Therapy - an Eastern form of body work using compression, passive and active stretches to balance the Qi (life force) and bring vitality, harmony and health to mind, body and spirit.

Neuromuscular Therapy - utilizes pressure therapy after all trigger points are examined to determine the source of tension and pain. Pressure is applied followed by specific movement exercises to develop and maintain muscle strength and flexibility.

Sonoran Stone Therapy – reduces muscle tension, stress, and toxins by applying hot desert stones. Used with aromatherapy (optional) and traditional massage techniques.

Foot Massage Therapy – utilizes Swedish massage, towel wraps, dry foot scrub, aromatherapy and buff and reflexology to sooth and invigorate sore, tired, aching feet.

Facial Massage Therapy – exfoliates, tones & moisturizes your face using hot steamed towels, soothing cool eye pads, moisturizing lip treatment to help you not only feel younger but look younger, too!
