Tennis & Racquetball

Members can enjoy the free use of six Classic Clay™ tennis courts as a benefit of membership. For a fee, we also offer tennis classes for all skill levels. Because of the mild winter temperatures in Tucson, we offer classes all year round.

For a fee, we also offer year-round tennis classes:

  • 20 hours of weekly adult tennis via 11 different adult clinics, drill & plays, team practices and academies.
  • 15 hours of weekly junior tennis via 7 different junior clinics and academies.

compete in USTA and interclub leagues.

Chuck ReisigChuck Reisig, Director of Tennis, USPTA Pro 1

With more than 20 years of teaching experience, Chuck sets the standard for other pros through his commitment to the tennis teaching profession and continuing education. His coaching philosophy puts the athlete first and winning second. Chuck believes that court success comes from the incorporation of all the sport sciences including sports medicine, biomechanics, motor learning, sports psychology, nutrition and sports physiology.

Moez Ali, Tennis Professional

Moez Ali

Moez Ali hails from Kenya and has many years of experience at both the competitive and instructional level. He competed in ITF Junior Tournaments in Africa for Kenya’s National Junior Team, and also played at the U.S. college level from 1999 – 2003, graduating from Martin College in Nashville, Tennessee, where he was Senior Instructor at Vanderbilt University’s Nike Tennis Camps directed by Grand Slam and Olympic Champion Ken Flach.

Claudio Bravo, Tennis Pro USPTA

Claudio is a native of Tucson. Claudio played competitive junior tennis for the USTA Southwest Section winning numerous tournaments, playing at the national level, and finishing Top 10 in the  Nation for Boy’s 18 and under. At his high school he earned three Arizona State tennis championships. Claudio then headed to Gustavus Adolphus College where he became an Intercollegiate Tennis Association Scholar Athlete. Claudio Spent his summers teaching and touring and earned his USPTA Certification.
