SHALOM (PEACE) CAMPERS ENTERING GRADES K-2
A program designed for campers to enjoy the traditional day camp experience and explore all Camp J has to offer. Grouped by age, campers are involved in programming designed to meet the needs of their developmental level. Shalom campers participate in activities led by experienced specialist instructors as well as get a taste of our Chugim (specialty choice electives).
Daily swim and swim instruction are part of the summer fun.

GIBORIM (HEROES) CAMPERS ENTERING GRADES 3-5
In Giborim, campers enjoy a traditional day camp designed to nurture creativity and build skills while allowing campers to explore new interests, have fun, and be a part of our camp community. Giborim campers participate in activities led by experienced specialist instructors as well as have Chugim (specialty choice electives) to be able to choose their own activities throughout the week. A Weekly field trip is also part of the program.

TIYUL (TRIP) CAMPERS ENTERING GRADES 6-8
Nothing says adventure like Camp Tiyul! Each week we embark on exciting excursions. We will be going on a variety of day trips and overnight trips each week. Much of the camp programming is designed to engage campers in teamwork, making new friends, and helping create the awareness of self.

GESHER (BRIDGE) CAMPERS ENTERING GRADES 6-8
Gesher is a non-travel alternative for our Tiyul campers who do not wish to travel out of town. The camp day will consist of elective choice periods, experiential learning through higher level specialized activities, and service learning and contribution in service projects. Our Gesher program is designed to give older campers a unique experience built toward the needs of tween and teen participants. Campers will gain confidence by building new skills and making new friends.

BONIM (BUILDERS) CAMPERS ENTERING GRADE 9
The Leader-In-Training program is a place where teenagers learn the skills needed to be the next generation of leaders. Bonim Campers will work with campers of all ages under the guidance of Camp J staff all while still enjoying time for social interaction. Our LIT’s will participate in team-building, leadership training, and experience a summer they will never forget. Enrollment in Camp Bonim requires a pre-camp interview for eligibility and expectations.

Kids on the Move
Kids on the move provides the opportunity for campers to explore and visit local attractions and activities in the surrounding community. In addition to our day trip, campers will get the chance to go swimming and enjoy structured activities around the J. (Trips include: 5/23 – Golf n Stuff, 5/24 – Skate Country, 8/5 – Quincie Douglas Pool, 8/6 – Peter Piper Pizza, and 8/7 – Pump It Up)
Come experience a world of fun with our comprehensive water themed camp. Participants will have an opportunity to learn about the various roles water plays in everyday life through science experiments, field games, and structured pool and water-based activities.

5th of July – Kids on the Move – Grades K-5
Kids on the move provides the opportunity for campers to explore and visit local attractions and activities in the surrounding community. In addition to our day trip, campers will get the chance to go swimming and enjoy structured activities around the J. (Trip: Lucky Strike Bowling)
