The Tucson JCC offers enrichment classes designed to spark your child’s imagination.  Many classes are drop-in! Sign up at any time.

Children’s Classes

Classes run August 21 through December 22. Sign up for one, all, or mix & match classes. Students enrolled in one class the entire run time receive a 5% discount. Members get an additional 5% discount if enrolling more than one child in enrichment classes.

TODDLER TUMBLING • AGES 12-28 MONTHS
Mondays, 3:15 – 3:45 pm • Introduction to gymnastics. Class has a variety of materials to explore: mats, tunnels, push-pull toys, balls, hoops, scarfs, music and much more Instructor: Sarah Warren $15/$12 members • Gym

ANIMAL YOGA • AGES 3-11

SINGING & MOVING WITH MOM • 4-15 MONTHS

HIP HOP • AGES 3-5

LUNCH BUNCH • AGES 2-5
Wednesdays, 12:15 pm – 1 pm • Inspired by our discover CATCH program, children help choose, create, & eat a well-rounded lunch together. SCIENCE SQUAD • AGES 3-15
Wednesdays • Children develop a lifelong interest in science with hands on cooking experiments, scavenger hunts, and explore the natural world through self-discovery. CLAY • AGES 3-5

GYMNASTICS • AGES 3-15
Thursdays • Basic skills for youngest children include balancing skills, running, jumping, and leaping. Skills acquired for older children include cartwheels, handstands, bridges,and pull-overs. Thursdays, 4 – 5 pm • ECE children are paired with J-Care kids and help take care of the Shay Shay Garden together. Maintain & harvest ECE & J-Care plots in the garden and participate in this mitzvah (commandment) through crafts, recipes, and other projects. SPANISH THROUGH MUSIC & PLAY • AGES 2-5

DRAMA KIDS INTERNATIONAL • AGES 3-15

J-RAYS SWIM SCHOOL | AGES 6 MONTHS & UP
Fun and comprehensive learn-to-swim-program that uses constructive play to teach young swimmers how to float and prefect swimming strokes. Classes are 30 minutes each and are offered throughout the week and weekend. There is a $25 one-time registration fee/members and non-members. Year-round USA Swimming Team for ages 6 to 22 years old. To join, swimmers must be able to cross the pool unaided and will be placed in the appropriate practice groups based on ability. Emphasis on goal setting and being the best you can be. Competitions are in Tucson and throughout Arizona. Space is limited and swimmers must schedule a swim test.
