NEW Unusual Painting Tools
This workshop is devoted to experimenting and exploring ways to apply and work with paint. We will be using cut vegetables, Q-tips, cardboard ‘combs’, make-up sponges and more as alternative ways to move paint across a surface. No prior painting experience required. Fun for ALL levels!!! Materials provided. Please bring a smock.

NEW Family Collage
Create a collage that honors members of your family! In this workshop, bring photocopies (black & white or color) of the people you love; we’ll create a gorgeous mixed-media 2-D environment for them to live in! The class includes an inexpensive frame plus all materials. No prior painting experience needed. Safe, fun, supportive environment for you to share photos and stories of your family members in a group setting. Most materials included. Please bring photos & smock.

Create your own watercolor paintings and gain a better understanding of color and how to paint with watercolors. You will be learning painting fundamentals while exploring Jewish themes. Materials list will be distributed prior to the course. Ann Marcus Lapidus has been teaching art for over 20 years. Currently, she is a teaching artist at the Tucson Museum of Art and at the Temple Emanu-el Kurn Religious School. She has a BA in Fine Art from Pomona College, Claremont, CA and a semestrial degree from the Sorbonne, Paris, France.

NEW Clay with Sway
A scheduled day, leaves no room for play. Join us in this lab setting to improve your clay skills. Experiment with a variety of tools, try new textures, and some interesting flair, work out the kinks, go beyond your knowledge to fine tune your creations. All are welcome. NEW Sunday Morning Clay Class
Join us in this clay class to improve or advance what you have learned in other classes such as “Clay with Sway” to the next level, or experiment on a larger scale. You can bring your clay knowledge up to date through practice with forms, tiles, the pottery wheel or sculpture. This class features a variety of ideas, solvable clay problems and multiple techniques. $30 materials fee due on first day of class. Instructor: Gerrie Young.
