Also offering Infant Swimming Resources (ISR): Lessons Starting at 6 Months

Infant Swimming Resource (ISR) – Self-Rescue ™ Lessons
ISR is the safest provider of infant and toddler survival swimming lessons worldwide. With more than 40 years of research and development behind ISR’s Self-Rescue™ program, ISR teaches each child survival skills in conjunction with basic swimming lessons that give them the competence required to safely enjoy the water. 4-6 week course, scheduled 5 days per week, Monday through Friday, for 10 minutes each day. With a focus on safe, customized, one-on-one lessons by certified Instructors, ISR’s survival swimming lessons emphasize health, ongoing program evaluations, and parent education to deliver the most effective and safest results in the industry. Children may begin lessons at 6 months of age until 6 years of age. Contact Mrs. Sheryl Roth swimfloatswim@me.com #520-444-6440

Lessons for a 6-12 month old: focus on teaching the child to roll onto their back to float, rest and breathe, and to be able to maintain this life-saving position until help arrives.

Lesons for children 1-6 years old: focus on teaching the swim-float-swim survival sequence. Children learn to swim with their head down; roll onto their back to float, rest, and breathe; and roll back over to resume swimming until they reach the side of the pool, where they can either crawl out or until they can be rescued.

Once the children are fully skilled they will practice ISR’s survival techniques fully clothed during lessons. It is recommended that children complete refresher lessons to help their in-water skill level grow with their physical development.

Empower your child by enrolling him or her in ISR’s Self-Rescue™ program. For more information, contact Mrs. Sheryl Roth swimfloatswim@me.com #520-444-6440

Hear What People are Saying…

Annie Symms – “We joined the J upon moving to Tuscon this summer 2016. My greatest interest right off the bat in this amazingly supportive family activity center was getting my 2 year daughter comfortable in the water. She was initially very fearful and spent most of our time at the pool trying to climb out and run on the pool deck. Despite my taking her 3-4 times per week, we weren’t making any progress.

I reached out to Brandon after witnessing his success running the swim team. He recommended private lessons with an expert on little kids. Savannah has been such a blessing. My daughter took to her quickly. Savannah is patient, dependable, kind and very skilled. With just a few months a twice-per-week lessons, my daughter can kick her feet, get her head wet, jump into the pool to her teacher, and perhaps most importantly, she races to her lesson and fights getting out! What a change! Bath time is even better. Private swim lessons with Savannah has become a highlight of our week. It is especially nice to be at the J because my baby son is also well taken care of in the child care center during the swim lesson. Thank you for helping me help my daughter learn to love swimming! Hopefully in a couple years we’ll have her on the swim team, which I never thought possible a few months ago. “
